Mukesh Agnihotri is an MLA from the Haroli constituency in Himachal Pradesh. He belongs to the Congress party. In 2003, Agnihotri won the Assembly poll from Santokhgarh and was re-elected in 2007. After delimitation in 2007, Santokhgarh was known as the Haroli constituency. He won in 2012 and 2017 from the same seat. He was born on October 9, 1962, and has a post-graduation diploma in public relations and advertisement and an M.Sc in mathematics. He served as senior correspondent of ‘Jansatta’ (an Indian Express Group publication) for 10 years in Shimla and 3 years in Delhi. In Himachal Pradesh, Agnihotri was a member of the Press Accreditation Committee (HP government), the Press Gallery Committee of the State Legislative Assembly, the Government Pahari Language committee, etc. At present, he is stepping up preparations for the upcoming polls.
